Master Scalability: Your Next Steps

Reader,

Today, we are diving into three things holding you back from scaling....

And of course, how to fix them.

Most people can hustle their way to multiple 6-figures but get stuck there. Then, they get stuck again at the low 7-figure range.

Is it because they are doing something wrong? No, it's because they haven't set themselves up to scale properly! So, let's talk about it!

Before I dive in, you have one more day to get registered for Julie's Clients for Life with Human Design workshop.

In a market OBSESSED with more marketing that is sooooo bro-y and disengenious, Julie is one of the only online leaders to actually teach you how to create offers that actually MAINTAIN the clients you work so hard to find in today's market.

This live training will walk you through what's actually working to build REAL trust based on the science-backed principles of Human Design (not the woo-woo stuff... the science stuff).

If you aren't operating differently in today's market, you are missing out on hundreds of thousands of dollars in sales. Julie's workshop also comes with a free private audio training that you get immediate access to, so you can start thinking through where your current model is and what might need to change based on your Human Design!

Here's the link to get registered!

Okay, let's talk scalability in today's market....

Three things keeping you from scaling (and how to fix them)!

1-Your sales system is completely reliant on you

This one keeps most entrepreneurs stuck at the mid-6-figure mark.

The old model of high-ticket closers doesn't work anywhere near the way it used to, since we are operating in an entirely different economy.

Because of that, many entrepreneurs stepped back into the sales role, which is TOTALLY fine for a season.

But a business isn't sustainable if 100% of the sales process is dependent on the founder.

So how do you fix this in today's landscape?

→Dial in your mass market sales strategy so you can sell 1 to many (email, text, and social media should have a strategic sales strategy)

→Learn how to convert effectively on live video (single sessions or multi-day events)

→Operate a simple sales system that your team (even an intern or VA) can work without you (connect with new ideal leads, qualify leads, make offers, follow up).

→Maintain a lead database that anyone new in your company can walk into

→Strategically plan portfolio reviews for your team, to walk them through all current leads, where they are, and how they are moving them forward

→Commit to spending time coaching your team to get them up to speed on your sales system and effective in connecting with and converting leads

If you don't have a TRUE sales system (not just a "I post and launch every now and then" strategy) or feel comfortable training your team on a sales system or how to sell more effectively, steal our system and let us spend the year training your team. For less than the cost of some basic Instagram algorithm class that will be irrelevant in a week, we will give you and your team a COMPLETE sales system (templates and all) + 1 year of support in our live monthly sessions. 2-You don't have a brand-building strategy

As you scale, you will hit a warm market ceiling that can only be expanded by a true focus on brand building.

That means MORE people KNOW who you are and what you do.

Which means running ads strategically, growing your social media presence with the right messaging, and building an ecosystem where people can binge content and connect with you in multiple places.

This means getting serious about both long-form and short-form content, PLUS showing up live consistently.

This means investing in photography, a brand website, and being on camera to connect with your audience.

All of this can only happen when you have a team in place to manage sales and the client journey.

You simply can't do the brand work required if you are stuck in the day-to-day of selling and customer delivery.

3-You are stuck in an outdated model that isn't scalable

Lots of business owners build programs around themselves.

This doesn't necessarily mean a 1:1 model, though there are obvious limitations to that approach.

This also means you don't have specific frameworks in place that other people can deliver.

That works for a period of time and to a certain point, but it isn't infinitely scalable.

You want to layer in services that are scalable when you aren't operating, with those that are.

For us, we've added things like our Substack subscription and brand sponsorships to our mix of offers.

For most people, there is a mix of group offers, done-for-you services,1:1s, and monetized content at scale that can add multiple streams of revenue so that there are components of your offer suite that are wildly scalable while others are capped and exclusive.

Most people who talk about scaling don't actually have experience scaling.

There are online course creators out there acting like they can coach people on business building at scale, when they've largely run companies based on mass marketing strategies.

They don't have sales systems.

They haven't had a team drive delivery.

They are delegators when it comes to tech and operations, but don't know how to get a team to drive growth, retention, and strategy without them at the helm.

Scaling is different than just doing a lot of marketing for a big launch.

Reader, This week's newsletter is super practical... We are breaking down different ways to turn your followers into sales conversations... Scripts included. Let's dive in. Here’s where most people overcomplicate this: They think sales conversations start when someone says “I’m interested.” They don’t; they start the moment someone enters your world. And if you’re not intentionally guiding the conversation from start to finish… You’re letting leads fall through the cracks. So, let's change...

Reader, We've been talking a lot about content this month... How informational content has to create a gap instead of just giving away steps. How hope content has to be grounded in proof, not just feel-good quotes. But there's a third thing happening that I haven't talked about yet. And honestly? It might be the biggest offender when it comes to your content attracting LURKERS and FREEBIE seekers instead of buyers. Because it doesn't feel like a mistake... It feels like the RIGHT thing to do....

Reader, Last week, we talked about informational (How-To) content... This week, we are talking inspirational content, or what we call HOPE content. And this kind of content strategy is EVERYWHERE. “Inspirational content is what builds connection.” “People buy based on emotions." “Just share your heart.” And yes. Emotion matters. People do buy based on emotion and back it up with logic. That's true. But emotion ALONE isn't enough. They need BELIEF. Emotion triggers belief, but if all you are...
