What to use AI for... and what to NEVER let AI touch!

Alrighty.... today's newsletter is about something I get questions about ALL. THE. TIME.

How are we using AI?

Should you be using AI?

Am I falling behind if I'm not?

Am I losing my edge if I am?

Here's the truth...the hype online is causing most people to get FAR off track in their businesses, and keeping them from hitting their actual goals.

Either they're automating everything and wondering why their brand attracts no one (or the wrong people)...

Or they're sticking their head in the sand...avoiding it entirely out of fear.

But like most things, the best solution lies somewhere in the middle.

So today we are diving into how to decide what to use AI for, and what to keep in the hands of real live humans!

Research and data analysis. Stop spending hours manually pulling together market research, client pain points, and industry trends. Use AI to do the intake work. You still have do the thinking, the analyzing, and the synthesizing, AI just gets you there faster. This alone can buy back hours every single week. You can use Claude or ChatGPT for this, or check out one of our favorite tools ANA.

Content repurposing. You're already creating content. The podcast, the training, the newsletter... it's sitting there waiting to be multiplied. AI can take ONE strong piece of your original content and turn it into posts, scripts, and emails. The ideas are yours. The IP is yours. AI just increases the volume you can get from one single piece of long-form content. It gets more traction from what you've already built. There are a ton of tools to help you with this, so test some out and find one that suits your needs and flow best.

Ad creative volume. The new Meta ads algorithm requires an insane amount of creative which means you need to be able to crank things out quickly. AI makes this exponentially faster. More creative, faster testing, better data. Without you staring at a blank page for three hours. You can use your own B-roll and photos, but leverage AI to create more creative to test ads quicker.

Calendar management and daily prep. AI agents can organize your pipeline, structure your day, and help you walk into your Miracle Hour PREPARED...outreach list ready, context pulled up, priorities clear. You show up to connect. Not to catch up. That's a game-changer (more on this to come in the next few weeks).

Client support and resource development. Synthesizing client surveys, scanning client groups, creating support materials, and custom ChatGPTs filled with your IP to help them better use what you teach... it are all great ways to put AI to work.

Simple welcome automations for new followers. A warm message to someone who just found you on social is a great thing to automate. As soon as they connect, they get a message while your profile is fresh on their mind. Manychat is our favorite tool for this!

What AI should NOT be doing in your business:

Building your brand. You know how I feel about this...

NO AI photos.

NO AI twins doing your videos.

NO AI writing your captions with none of your ideas.

Using AI for this is literally racing to the bottom. It erodes trust. It makes you just like everyone else. It is the opposite of thought leadership.

Automating your sales process. This is a new thing...

Sales without calls...

Sales without talking to people...

Sales on autopilot...

Sales reps replaced by bots...

Robocalls...

ALL undermine trust.

The more focused on establishing a relationship you are in the sales process, the more you will rise to the top as everyone out there is chasing AI solutions to make sales.

Now...can AI help you organize your sales activities for the day, prep your outreach list, and pull context before a call? Absolutely.

Use it for that. But the conversation itself...the listening, the connecting, the offer you make based on what that specific person actually needs? That's yours. No bot can do that in a way that prioritizes the buyer.

Automating your sales process sounds like a good idea now, but the brands that prioritize relationships build customer loyalty from the start and will win in the long run.

Automating your client touchpoints. Your clients hired YOU. They stay and send referrals because of how you make them feel.

A real check-in, a thoughtful message, a response that shows you actually know their situation and care about their outcome... those things compound over time into the retention and referral numbers that fuel your growth.

The worst thing you can do for your brand is be unreachable, then give your clients nothing but a bot or AI to "support" them.

Here's the deal....

AI should be buying you back time.

Time to serve.

Time to have the REAL conversations that build REAL relationships that drive REAL revenue.

If your AI strategy is doing that, you're using it right.

If it's slowly replacing the human parts of your business...the parts that made you magnetic in the first place...it's time to take those things back.

The lie circulating right now is that you will be left behind if you don't AI-ify everything. The truth is actually that analog marketing, sales, and relationship-focused buying experiences are what people are craving.

Referrals. Small dinners. In-person events. ACTUAL phone calls.

Presence is what so many are craving; leaning into that in your sales process is KEY.

And THAT is what the Miracle Hour is all about...

As the rest of the world races to commoditize their business...

As they get out contented by the AI twins...
